Hospital Projects & Renovation

Hospital Projects – Washakie Development Association has been successful in supporting and facilitating Washakie Medical Center again partnering with Washakie County. Washakie County owns the building that houses Washakie Medical Center and when the hospital needed a roof WDA prepared the grant application to the State Land and Investment Board for $583,009.00. The grant was successful and the new roof was put on, saving the county 75% of the project cost.

Hospital Renovation – WDA played a small role in the large 23 million dollar hospital renovation project for Washakie Medical Center. WDA again worked with the County and prepared a successful grant application for part of the County’s obligation to the renovation. This grant was for fixed equipment and totaled $840,000.00.
