After purchasing a vacant building located at 1214 South Flat Rd., in the spring of 2019 Washakie Development was hopeful that one day the building would help a local business expand and create primary jobs in the community.  In July of 2021 that very event took place when the property was sold to Amish Origins a local manufacturer of topical pain relief ointment and other products for an expansion. 

Amish Origins is expanding their online sales and exporting opportunities while considering other uses for the additional property as well. Chopper CrossFit was able to stay in their building.  Washakie Development will use the proceeds from the sale of the building for continuing the mission of economic development in Washakie County.

The building at 1214 South Flat Rd. also caught the eye of Unique Precision Industries. UPI is currently working with Washakie Development toward relocating their business to Worland from Temecula, CA.
