Washakie County Utilities

Wyoming Gas, provides natural gas to the area. Rocky Mountain Power and High Plains Power, serve the community with electricity. Rocky Mountain Power can provide 120/208, 277/480 three phase or 120/240 volt single phase service in most areas of Worland. High Plains Power serves the surrounding area and Big Horn Rural Electric Company serves Ten Sleep. The Rocky Mountain Power system is strong enough that it can provide service to just about any commercial/industrial customer of course there are times that large motor issues may need to be addressed with some form of soft start.

The City of Worland and the Town of Ten Sleep boast an abundance of high quality artesian water for its residents and businesses and provides water through rural water districts to the surrounding area. Waste water over 25,000 gallons a day requires compliance with an industrial pre-treatment program.
