The Workforce in Washakie County

Washakie County has one of the most well-educated, and hard-working workforces in Wyoming. Given its central location in the southern Big Horn Basin, Washakie County also offers access to the workforce in Hot Springs County and southern Big Horn County approximately 10,000 workers – all within an easy 40 minute drive of downtown Worland.

The Washakie Development Association is willing to work with companies considering business relocation or business expansion in Washakie County to determine the availability of workers with a specific skill set.
